Our last leg together as a group and we board the bus at Norseman after sleeping in the community...
EXPLORING THE HEART
The Pilgrimage to Uluru is a chance to make things different.
More than sightseeing, more than a holiday. We take the opportunity to learn as much as we can on the road. We stop. We listen. We change. Taking a pilgrimage is making a choice to know the past, so that we can change the future.
We start at points all around Australia, and spend ten days exploring our country. We learn about the traditional cultures of the lands we pass through.
Uluru is in the heart of Australia. The stories and history surrounding Uluru represent the beautiful and painful past that many of us know so little about.
We hope that young people come away from the Pilgrimage with a heart to make a difference, in their own lives, in the lives of others, and in the world that they inhabit.
Stories from us. Doing the best we can to share what this trip is like.
Kayla, Mornington Peninsula
"The Pilgrimage can help change you, and help open your eyes to the things around you. I would not look at the world the same after this."
Jake, Western Australia
"The Pilgrimage to Uluru is really about finding yourself, and the journey that you go on. And really just learning about different cultures and Aboriginal aspects of life. I think this is one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life."
