Last night was such a highlight, after a full day on the bus playing games and discussing what it means to stand firm like a rock or go with the flow like a stream we arrived at Port Augusta – did you know Port Augusta is home to over 25 languages!

That evening we visited our dear friends the Dusty Feet Mob! After kicking the footy having a delicious feed of kangaroo tail cooked underground and a kangaroo tail stew we had the absolute privilege of being a part of experiencing culture through dance. The Dusty Feet Mob choreographed that tells the story of stolen generation – of mothers left grieving after their little ones have been taken away, of youngsters forced to leave family, language and culture behind in replacement of domestic training. Our hearts are so saddened by our past, while hopeful for what our future could be! Dusty Feet Mob have entrusted us with a powerful gift – shared life!

We honour this trust by pledging to take this experience into our homes, schools and lives to bring healing to our land!
